Inside Our Dolls House

Have you ever wanted to create your own miniature world? A place where you can let your imagination run wild and design every little detail? Well, that's exactly what we did when we decided to create our own Susi Bellamy dolls house. Complete with wallpaper and fabric, this DIY project was not only a creative outlet but also a fun way to spend our time. 

Before we dive into the details, let's talk about why we chose a Susi Bellamy doll's house for our project. Susi Bellamy is known for her vibrant and colourful designs, and we wanted our dolls house to reflect that. With her unique wallpaper and fabric collections, we knew that our miniature house would be a work of art.

Take a look into our magical doll's house. As a child we've all played with dolls houses - the hours of recreation was thrilling and kept us entertained for hours. But as an adult, we can still love dolls houses, and maybe even more so when you can decorate it as you please. Say hello to the ultimate dolls house, a Susi Bellamy miniature dream.

The outside of the dolls house was painted and restored in this putty pink colour, finished off with a bespoke Susi Bellamy plaque and wallpaper on the roof to mimic tiles. The wallpaper used is our popular marbled Saffron Plumes Wallpaper!

Susi styled the interior to reflect her love of pattern and ambient lighting.  We even upholstered a tiny suite of living room furniture and made a cover for the double bed!

Our Beige Ripple wallpaper for the bedroom and all the papers in the house were reduced in scale to 1/12 of the original size to keep it in proportion.  We are thrilled with the result.  Note the slightly wonky lampshade too made with some off cuts!

After hours of hard work and creativity, our Susi Bellamy dolls house was finally complete. It was a labour of love, and we couldn't be happier with the result. The vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and attention to detail made it a truly unique and special piece.
